sually,
no matter how good the wireframe, there are various things about the wireframe
that need to be explained in detail so our project teammates can properly
execute the creative or technical aspects. Recently, I've been involved
in trying to standardize on a single approach within my company to the
kinds of notes that should written to explain the purpose and interaction
requirements of wireframes and link them back to the relevant use cases.
s
a result, I had a good framework to begin with. All of the wireframe notes
pages followed the same approach outlined below. Where there was no content
for a given heading, we just left it blank. These notes were always on
the following page within a Visio document after the page they described.
Sometimes I supplemented these notes with little call outs for particularly
important points within the body of the wireframe itself.
was gratified to see the development team rely on these notes pages pretty
heavily. It's always nice to know that the documentation you put so much
sweat and tears into is actually being used by your colleagues! :-)
